    Overview of the GoBright  Mobile App


    About the application

    The GoBright App is designed to allow room and desk booking whilst on the move. Allowing for flexibility when requiring a to schedule a meeting. The App is a free download from your mobile store and is compatible with both Android and iOS. Bookings can also be canceled from the App alleviating the issue of no show bookings, therefore maximising room and desk occupancy.

     


    Dashboard Overview

    The dashboard of the application is designed to be clear and concise. Offering insight into the rooms or desks you have booked, or by selecting the down arrow by the date a date of your choice. The bottom of the screen contains the key functionality:

    • Searching for rooms and desks
    • Interactive floorplans
    • Find a colleague functionality
    • Desk or room check-in or out using NFC

     


    Search for a room or desk

    Whether you require a room or desk the booking process is virtually the same. Select 'Search' from the bottom menu. This will launch the search screen.

     

     

    Choose between 'Room' or 'Desk', working your way down the screen selecting the required 'Date', 'Time' and 'Duration'.

    Notice the room booking option has capacity as a search criteria.

    Types relate to the style of desk or room and not an essential when getting started. 

    The icons under the Types are amenities, these are identifiers as to what can be found in the room or at the desk. They are designed to filter the results of a room or desk search and are totally customisable. 

    Once the search criteria are entered select 'Book a room' or 'Book a desk' the available will be listed

     

    Room booking

    Select the required room from the list of available. This opens a secondary screen where the subject of the meeting can be added along with any other participants required. Save to confirm the booking which then appears on the dashboard.

    Desk booking

    When selecting the desk from the available search this desk will then display on the interactive map, offering a visual in the office layout. Saving the selection will add the booking to the dashboard.


    Floorplan

    The 'Floorplan' option allows for an overview of the office floor on any selected day, highlighting areas already booked.

    Clicking on the map allows a desk or room to be booked in a similar style to the above process.

     


    Find a colleague

    The find a colleague function allows for a user to search for a colleague with a booking on the system either for that day or in the future if wishing to collaborate together and require desks near each other. 

     


    Scan NFC

    The Scan NFC function is used to check-in or out of desks which will either have the GoBright Connect or an NFC sticker available. 

    Selecting 'Scan NFC' will take the App into the scanning mode which will activate the NFC device when placed close to the phone.
