Valarea - Setting up the Wireless Touch Controller

Valarea POD - Setting up the optional Wireless Touch Controller

Valarea POD can be controlled in a number of ways - using a wireless mouse to control via the host Windows PC, through an interactive touch screen or (for users of the full subscription) through the Companion App.

Another way of controlling the in room functions is to deploy the Wireless Touch Controller licence in the room.

This licence resides on an in-room tablet (IoS and Android are supported), and gives the same wireless control experience as the Companion App.

To set up the WTC, you will need either

    - IoS tablet running version 12.1 or above

    - Android tablet running 7.0 or above

    - an email address for the WTC (this is required for the in-room licence)

    Installation and Configuration

You will need to purchase a Wireless Touch Control licence for the device.  You will be provided with the licence key.

    - Download the Valarea Companion App from the appropriate App Store.

    - Configure the Companion App using the email address for the WTC

    - The administrator can then assign the licence key to the WTC Companion App

    Using the Wireless Touch Control

Once installed, the WTC will display the in-room calendar.  Users can launch calls on the POD through the WTC.  When in a Valarea session, the WTC will switch to Trackpad mode, enabling users to control the on screen cursor, launch applications and annotate on the Valarea whiteboard.

Users can stil use their mobile devices to scan the QR code to transfer their personal calendar to the POD and access their individual cloud files.
