How to schedule media in GoBright View

Depending on the zones set up on the display screen then different content can be played in different zones, changing at different times. Therefore if some content needs to be displayed longer then other content then this can be scheduled for a particular zone.

When scheduling media it is therefore important to understand:

• Where the media is to be played
• When do you want the media to start playing
• How long is the media to be played
• How often is the media to be played

From the View home screen select Schedule;

The current playlist will be displayed.Using this example we can see the following:

1. Where the content is to be displayed on the screen
2. The channel the media is to be played on
3. The device where the media is to be played
4. The active rules of when the media plays
5. The amount of content to be played and on which device(s)

Taking this playlist into the edit mode will allow characteristics to be set

As the slides are already added and the zone we are going to look at the schedule and devices to play the content.

In this example the following are set

1. The starting date and time of the playlist
2. When the playlist repeats
3. When does the schedule finish for the playlist

We can now decide which devices will be playing the content. Select the Devices tab to reveal all the active devices on your platform.

Select the required devices and these appear in the Plays on list

Select Update to save the new settings

We now have a summary of the scheduled playlist
