GoBright Connect Connectivity
GoBright Connect
The Connect is used to show the status of the desk, it can be used to check-in or book the desk, it can measure occupancy, and can set the desk to a certain height. The visual aspect of the GoBright Connect adds significant benefit to the office environment.
The installation of the Connect can be in two forms:
1. Installed directly in the desk so it sits flush - This solution requires an 80mm hole to be drilled into the desk.
2. Installed in a desktop caddy - This solution allows the Connect to sit proud of the desk.
Connectivity
In the back of the Connect unit two push connections are available, for the Glow and for the main power loom.
The main power loom has three connections
1. USB Power
2. Desk Sensor Connectivity
3. RJ45 Connection used for connection to LINAK desk control modules
Where multiple desks are together then a USB power hub is recommended. Power drawn for each Connect is typically 300mA at 5V at regular operation. The length of the Connect cable is approximately 130cm. If a USB extension is required for power then we recommend no further than 3m in length.
The Connect will communicate with the GoBright Gateway over the Zigbee network.
